After 2 long years, 2022/23 marks the reintroduction of our 5th Season out on the Competitive Circuit! We compete in a number of exciting competitions around the UK each season and being on a Squad requires a commitment to train at a higher level.

Whether Cheerleaders are just starting out or already skilled in gymnastics, dance, sports or performing arts, they develop an appreciation for the sport of cheerleading, while building their individual skills and work collaboratively with others to create a team.  Abilities in gymnastics, dance, acrobatics and performance are developed, challenged and nurtured in a positive way.  In addition to training for the national competitive circuit, they will have the opportunity to participate in additional performances within the community to perform at local and regional events on the Display Squad.

We have cheerleaders from 5 years old to Adult that make up the DG CHEER  competition programme. They are divided into different squads according to their age. Our age guidelines (Cheerleader's age by August 31st of the start of the season.) are based off the USASF/IASF age guidelines for the sport of Cheerleading.
